Had an interesting weekend, a few surprise phone calls here and there but everything worked out ok as far as I know for now. Worked on a dress I am sewing but made the bust too large ha ha story of my life, ordered some new make up and lip plumper can't wait to try it out! Best Friend came over Saturday and stayed the day despite my bad cold which only got worse but I tried to make the best of it during Sunday lunch with the other best friend, the male best friend who has a gf that does not exsist in my world. I have yet to meet her and he never ever talks about her to me, it's bizarre I guess but he never mentions her or anything about her. But anyways we had an ok despite my misery its always good to see your freinds no matter what. Did alot of planning for the bbq this summer I hope it will be a great time for everyone and a good chance for everyone to meet new people. I am dying to meet more people around here but there really arent any that are that cool so far. I put off some knitting I have been meaning to do and still have not finished my vintage purse but I will get there. Finished a really good book, I would have never picked it up it looked too post menopause for me truely, but I really needed something new to read and it did the trick and then some, I really liked despite my cynical ways and I even teared up at the end. I did not try to cook anything new this weekend like I had planned, but I did make some good spaghetti today when the bf was here and she liked it well enough. We had a nice fathers day here yesterday as well and my brother in law acted a fool as usual. I have never disliked him but like real brother and sister we don't hide our feelings about things and we do bicker often, we are more alike than we had ever thought I guess. I got my Windsor Pilates tapes for now they are sitting next to my treadmill that I have not used in a great while. Someday I guess. I was planning to go to the Zoo tommorrow but I do not feel up to that, my fever is down but I just will not enjoy a day out at the zoo right now. I will think of something fun to do though.
